1) Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using howstud.io (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2) Scope

These Terms govern your use of the main HOWstud.io website, including inquiries, content, and purchases made directly through the Site. Project-specific apps or products may include additional or separate terms.

3) Eligibility & Use

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with security or operations.

4) Purchases & Payments

  • Orders: By placing an order, you authorize us (and our processors) to charge your selected payment method.
  • Prices & Taxes: Prices are listed before applicable taxes/fees, which you’re responsible for where required.
  • Refunds: Unless stated otherwise at checkout, digital goods and services are generally non-refundable once delivered or initiated. We may make reasonable case-by-case exceptions.
  • Subscriptions: If enabled later, subscription billing terms will be presented at checkout and can be canceled per the plan.

5) Communications (Email, SMS, Phone)

By providing contact information, you consent to receive communications related to inquiries, orders, and updates. Message/data rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing SMS by replying STOP and opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link. Transactional messages (e.g., receipts) may still be sent.

6) Intellectual Property

The Site, its content, logos, branding, and design elements are owned by HOWstud.io or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute Site content without prior written permission.

7) User Content & Feedback

If you submit ideas or feedback, you grant HOWstud.io a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and incorporate them without obligation to you.

8) Third-Party Services

The Site may link to third-party services or use embedded tools (e.g., analytics, payment processors). We are not responsible for third-party content or policies.

9) Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HOWstud.io disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

10) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HOWstud.io and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HOWstud.io from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

12) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Site at any time, with or without cause or notice.

13) Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state or federal courts located in New Jersey for any disputes not subject to informal resolution.

14) Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
